As I was walking back through the Footscray mall after Syed Javed, my colleague, had set this Blog up for me, I passed two youngish women talking intensely and one said: 'And that is my contribution to the world'!
It made me think of Hannah Arendt's 'love of the world' and made me also wonder whether, given such a worldly mode of writing as blogging, I too may at some point be able to say something similar about what I am embarking on here.
